“BCCI paid 844.92 crore in income tax in the fiscal year 2020–21, a little decrease from the 882.29 crore paid in the previous year. The board paid 815.08 crore in taxes in FY2019, up from 596.63 crore in FY2017–18, according to the report. For the fiscal year 2021–2022, the BCCI brought in revenue of 7,606 crore and spent roughly 3,064 crore. It made 4,735 crore in revenue while spending 3,080 crore in 2020–21. The BCCI is creating the amended schedule for the ODI World Cup alongside the ICC. The tournament’s schedule, which will begin on October 5, has been made public.

In order to avoid conflicting with the India vs. Pakistan game, BCCI was asked not to organise the celebration on October 15 as originally suggested in the schedule. The game will most likely be played on October 14 but will still take place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

It was asserted that the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) had asked the BCCI to move the Pakistan vs. England match since it would have otherwise taken place on Kali Puja (November 12).
